Prof. Isabel C.N. Sacco has a Bachelor’s degree(1995), a MSc(1997) and a PhD(2001) in Physical Education by the University of Sao Paulo(Brazil). She is an Associate Professor at the School of Medicine of USP(since 1999); 1B Research fellow of CNPq-Brazil; and the head of the Laboratory of Biomechanics of Movement and Human Posture, whose main areas of research includes biomechanics and rehabilitation of people with diabetes and osteoarthritis and runners. Currently is acting as the director of the Postgraduate Program in Rehabilitation Sciences at School of Medicine of USP.
