PhD student from Heidelberg University currently employed by the department of Internal Medicine I and Clinical Chemistry of the Heidelberg University Hospital to carry out my doctoral degree. With a Master in Pharmacy from the Complutense University of Madrid and a background in metabolic diseases, my research focuses in the molecular mechanisms of diabetic complications and especially in the role of the Glyoxalase system and Methylglyoxal in diabetes onset and progression.
