Please note that the DGPPN Congress 2021 is current being planned as a hybrid event in Berlin. This means that all parts of the programme will take place on site. As a digital supplement, some parts of the scientific programme will be livestreamed via the internet and some will also be available afterwards as video on demand. The DGPPN reserves the right to change the congress arrangements at short notice because of the pandemic and to present the congress as a purely digital event. Please refer to the General Terms and Conditions for further information.

What do I have to consider?
Two packages are available, which are described in more detail below:

Berlin+Online Package 2021
Analogue meets digital: This rate includes the best of both worlds:

  • A ticket to the DGPPN Congress 2021 in the CityCube Berlin with access to the entire scientific programme, the industry exhibition and the offerings in the field of psyche and art on all four congress days (as usual). The workshop programme, which will only be offered on site, can be booked for an additional fee.
  • This package also includes access to the live streaming. You can decide whether you want to watch select ongoing events from the CityCube online in the morning and meet colleagues on site in the afternoon or vice versa.
  • Most of the state-of-the-art symposia and lectures will be recorded and be made available afterwards on the congress platform as videos on demand.
  • Participants who are making an active scientific contribution to the congress are asked to sign up for the "Berlin+Online package" (see additional information below).

Online-Package 2021
This rate includes the digital offerings only:

  • Access to livestreaming offerings, i.e., about 40 selected events that will be broadcast live from the CityCube on an online congress platform during the congress in November. Participants will have the opportunity for live interaction with the speakers in Berlin.
  • Most of the state-of-the-art symposia and lectures will be recorded and be made available afterwards on the congress platform as videos on demand.

Additional information

  • Chairmen and speakers involved in symposia and lectures and poster authors are not exempt from the participation fee.
  • Please first register for the congress and pay the fees and then submit your contributions. If your submission is not included in the scientific programme, you will have the option to cancel your congress participation for free by 30 September 2021.
  • The DGPPN Scientific Programme Committee reserves the right not to include contributions in the congress programme that were submitted by speakers who have not paid the participation fee.
  • If participants cancel their participation in the congress by 30 September 2021, the participation fee will be refunded less a processing fee of 25% (this applies to participants who have not submitted a contribution for the scientific programme).
  • If the congress is held as a fully digital event because of the pandemic, all registered participants will be informed about the next steps in a timely manner.

How to register

For participants who already have a user account:

  • Log in with your login details from 2019 or 2020.
  • Click on "To congress registration" and complete the registration for the DGPPN Congress 2021.
  • DGPPN members will need to have their membership number on hand.

For new registrations (without existing user account):

  1. Click on "Register for the congress" and follow the steps in the registration form.
  2. Choose the participant type
    The choice of participant type affects the bookable services and prices. After making your choice, you will be taken to the corresponding form for creating a new user account. The new user account that you create this year will remain valid for subsequent years.
  3. DGPPN members will need their membership number during the registration process. Please have your number on hand. You can find your membership number on your last invoice for DGPPN membership dues.
  4. Choose a booking rate.
  5. Confirm booking.
  6. Pay the participation fee by bank transfer, SOFORT (online) bank transfer or SEPA direct debit.
  7. If your participation type requires a document as proof of eligibility, please upload it after completing your booking.
