Abstract submission

Please note: In order to submit an abstract, it is necessary that the presenting author submits the abstract and registers for the congress in advance.

If you have booked a day ticket and your presentation will be on a different day, we will rebook the day ticket for you.

In case of an abstract rejection, you can cancel your congress ticket free of charge within the mentioned period (please see terms and conditions).

The Congress of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine 2021 is currently being planned as a hybrid event which will take place in Berlin and will include the attendance of the invited speakers from the oral short presentations. This means that part of the congress program will take place on site and the other part will be broadcasted live from Berlin in a digital format for the online participants. Not all accepted abstracts/posters will be presented due to COVID-19 restrictions. We will inform you with your invitation letter if your attendance onsite is required.

Start of the abstract submission: 1st March 2021

Deadline for the abstract submission: 31st May 2021

The submission process includes the following steps:

  1. To submit an abstract, the presenting author must first be registered with a congress ticket.
  2. Enter the title and presentation form (poster/e-poster; oral presentation/ poster short presentation; video lecture) and select the topic and society from the drop-down menu. The abstract should not exceed 3000 characters including blank spaces.
  3. Please include the authors along with their contact information. Abstracts with incomplete personal data will not be accepted.
  4. Confirm your submission data and complete the process.
  5. Your submission is complete and finalized. You and all co-authors will be notified via email confirmation shortly after the submission.
  6. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please contact us. Please also check your spam folder.

After the reviewing process, the presenting authors will be informed about the acceptance/rejection of their abstracts by mid-July.

If a submitted paper cannot be accepted as a short lecture/oral presentation, the program committee will choose to accept the abstract as a poster/e-poster. The final decision on the presentation form is made by the program committee.
