Antje Körner is pediatric endocrinologist and Professor of Pediatric Research heading the Pediatric Research Lab of the Leipzig University Children’s Hospital. Her research focuses on the origin, mechanisms and consequences of childhood obesity following a translational approach that combines clinical, genetic and experimental studies. She has been awarded the Ferdinand Bertram-Award in 2013 and recently Hans-Christian-Hagedorn-Project by the DDG.
